Wellington National Park is situated between Bunbury, Collie and Dardanup and is 2.5 hours drive from Perth. The park covers an area of 17,000 hectares.
The park is home to some of Western Australia’s most magnificent eucalypt forests; jarrah, marri and yarri (Blackbutt).
The main feature of Wellington National Park is the Collie River Valley which comprises a lake and a gorge.
Highlights of the park include Minninup Pool, Wellington Dam Quarry, Honeymoon Pool and Potters Gorge. While you're there, check out the Wellington Discovery Forest. The centre incorporates self guided walk trails and information on the ecology of the Jarrah forest.
The Wellington National Park region and the Ferguson Valley are also home to the infamous Gnomesville.
