El Questro Wilderness Park is a million acre working cattle station and holiday destination.
El Questro is home to some of the most spectacular natural scenery of the Kimberley region and visitors to the station are provided with a range of accommodation options. Four wheel drive vehicles are recommended.
Highlights include:
- Chamberlain Gorge is only accessible by boat – cruises on the fresh waterhole are available.
- Bush Tucker and El Questro History Tour – learn about the bush foods of the Aboriginal people and the history of El Questro Station.
- Zebedee Thermal Springs – open between 5.30am and 12.00pm daily.
- Amalia Gorge – view the gorge via a challenging walk trail that incorporates a natural plunge pool.
- El Questro Gorge – a walk trail features clear pools and tropical vegetation.
The Wilderness Park Permit is $15.00 per adult, and is valid for up to seven days. Children 12 years and under free of charge. Visitors to the property are required to purchase the permit upon arrival at the property.
Location: El Questro Wilderness Park is located on the eastern perimeter of the Kimberley and 110 kilometres west of Kununurra. The station can also be accessed via the Gibb River Road.
