With twenty two kilometres of pure white sand, fringed by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, Cable Beach is indisputably one of the world’s best beaches.

Cable Beach was named after the telegraph cable that was laid between Broome and Java in 1889. Today, the beach is famous for unforgettable sunsets, camel rides and the spectacular ocean vista.

One look and you can see why this Broome beach is popular all year round for sun, sea and fun lovers.

Location: Broome is located 2,175 kilometres north of Perth, on the shores of Roebuck Bay.
