Carnarvon Blowholes
Rating
7.57
ranking: 76

The Carnarvon Blowholes were discovered in 1911 and form a natural spectacle as waves are forced through sea caves, before exploding to a height of up to 20 metres through holes in the rock.

Although beautiful, parts of the area can be dangerous. Keep a wary eye on the tides and beware of king waves.

Location: the Carnarvon Blowholes are located 70 kilometres north of Carnarvon and Carnarvon is located 905 kilometres north of the city of Perth.
